Lorraine Altamura was a teen model with Ford Agency in the late 60's. Convinced she was the only brunette in the industry preferring to work behind the camera, the segway to "make up" was a cinch. After a few years of doing make up and hair in the harsh world of "Super Models" Lorraine chose to move into Film and TV Commercials. Today, having invested many years into raising 4 children, Lorraine's confidence, ability and professionalism as a make up artist are a valuable asset to any work that includes PEOPLE! Whoever sits in the chair, not only knows that they look better than they ever ("And I still look like me" is often expressed), but that they are being well cared for!

Having worked with photographers such as Joyce Tenneson Robert Farber,
Directors like Steve Horn, John Derek, Robert Altman and Joe Pitka were a breeze.
Lorraine's ability is extensive:
Lorraine is a native New Yorker, yet her craft was honed in Los Angeles, where make up and hair is NATURAL usually intended for the large screen. That is why Sony has labeled her the "Hi-Def Queen". Lorraine is very enthusiastic, yet able to maintain a low-key presence on the set. Her attitude reflects a heart filled with compassion, knowing she is there to serve!
Lorraine loves to travel, speak other languages, ski, cook and be part of a team.
